... a mother / daughter team full of inspiration.

It started with Mom sewing clothes and ice skating costumes for my sisters and me. She taught us to sew, crochet, knit, needle point, quilt, and cook. She nurtured my love of sketching, painting, music and love of art. My childhood was filled with making magical delights for the holidays. Mom has always had this exceptional talent for creating beautiful art out of anything.

My Obsession is knitting and crocheting I learned from my Mom and Grandmother how to Crochet and Knit when I was very young. We both love building our stash and collecting different mediums for creating Fiber Art.

In the last few years Mom has been creating all different types of Art in several mediums and I became fascinated with Mini Teddy Bears, the smaller the better. My bug turned into creating Minature Teddy Bears. I began in the year 2000 armed with a box full of handed down sewing tools and a kit by Emily Farmer and a Video by Lorraine Garner. I started using patterns and then designing my own patterns. I spent hours on the phone with my Mom working out issues and tips on how to achieve a certain look. Now we collaborate on new ideas and design options for the Miniature Teddy Bear Cubs and Art we create.

As much as my main income come from corporate life, I am an Artist in my heart and soul. I long for the day that I can be an Artist all the time.

All in all we are an Artististic family filled with Love, Laughter and Passion...
